Case Strategies was initially developed 1992 in Honolulu, Hawaii for to provide Nurse Consulting to insurance firms and attorneys. These services included Case Management, Catastrophic Injury Case Management, Life Care Planning and Legal Nurse Consulting. In 1997, Case Strategies relocated to Sacramento, California. Services include; Consulting for Healthcare Institutes for evaluation and restructuring of Nursing and Professional Service Departments; case managment for insurance and attorneys; cost projections; and Nurse Consulting. In 2003 Development of Medicare Set Asides were added to the service line for our customers. In 2005, Case Strategies added Elder Case Management and Life Management skills teaching and mentoring.
Who are our customers? - Insurance
companies use our services to assist with the setting of
reserves, trusts, and settlements. We provide catastrophic
case management services for their more severe injuries.
- Attorneys involved in personal injury, medical
malpractice, workers compensation, Tort and product liability (both
plaintiff and defense) often request these both case
management and cost projections which are used for
settlements, trusts, and support in court.
- Trust
Companies use our services to establish the monies needed
for the trust and request at times to assist with the management of
the services. The plans are completed for catastrophic
injuries such as spinal cord, acquired injury, burns, amputations,
chronic pain, birth injuries, and other complex injury cases,both
over a life expectancy or for specific time periods of an injured
party.
